National Cybersecurity Awareness Month

Cybersecurity continues to be a critical part of technology in today's world.  Technology is evolving at a rapid pace and as it continues to grow the threats and attacks on our cybersecurity increase as well. Cybersecurity is essential to protect our computer systems and personal devices from outside threats to our hardware, software, and data. If your business is conducted online in any capacity, you not only have to protect your data but your clients as well.

In honor of National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, we are offering 20% off on our Cybersecurity webinars all October long.

  • Cybersecurity Series - Protecting Your PC & Mobile Devices
Most security experts will tell you it isn't a matter of "if" but a matter of "when" you will be attacked by a cyber thief. In order to reduce our risk of attack or at least the damage of the attack, we must learn how to protect our devices. This class will help you become more aware of security-related risks to your PC, tablet, smartphone, and portable data devices. You will learn specific strategies that will protect you and your organization from these various cyber threats. Our focus will be on protecting devices through strategies like encryption, location tracking, access control, backup, recovery, anti-malware and more. We will also discuss strategies to recover from attacks that render your device unusable.

  • Cybersecurity Series - Email Threats and Protection
Email security is about 3 things:
    1) Knowledge
    2) Awareness
    3) Judgment

KNOWLEDGE is about learning what we don't know. The average email user’s lack of knowledge is what leads to gaps for cyber attackers to penetrate. They use social engineering to get us to provide them access to our private information.

This class is designed to give you the KNOWLEDGE so that you have AWARENESS of an attacker's email scheme and can use good JUDGEMENT to prevent such attacks. The goal of this class is to improve upon your knowledge base in order to change your behavior when it comes to email.

  • Guide to Cyber Security Planning
This course provides a concise overview of Federal Communication Commission (FCC) guidelines for practitioners on how to create a customized cybersecurity game plan. While perfect security is not possible in a world where threat actors are always finding new and creative ways to exploit users and technology, the presentation reveals how to instantly improve your security posture even with limited resources and time.
